Dr.Harpal began his career from a very early age of 21 and since then he has been on an entrepreneurial spree.
- 1987: With a thought to seize the moment, he started Singh Metals to work in precision sheet metal for land line telecom.
- 1989: Started Singhs Systech Private Limited to manufacture telecommunication equipments with niche CDOT technology, capturing soon a market share of 33% PAN India among 21 competitors.
- 1997: Going by the rich response, he started his third venture Sigma Punch to manufacture sheet metal components for telecommunication industry on fully computerized CNC machines and also diversified into import substitution – Rice grading and sorting lines.
- 2001: Led by his dreams, he entered into the first joint venture with an American company to enter into Indian amusement industry as Stealth Amusement Private Limited.
- 2005: Started Synergy telecommunications to manufacture telecom shelters, power management units, phase change materials, high efficiency air conditioners, towers etc. in Nalagarh, Himachal Pradesh which soon became the second biggest company in India supplying to AIRTEL. Today spread over 10.5 Acres the company boasts of 30000 cell sites to its credit which incidently is one third of AIRTEL Network.
- 2007: Towards an inorganic advancement, he bought a UK based company – Thirslington and shifted the plant and machinery from UK to Nalagarh. This unit deals with the manufacturing of fire proof doors, office partitions and clean rooms for commercial purpose used in Pharma, Hotels and other infrastructure industries.
- 2009: Going in line with the needs of telecom industry, started with his much awaited desire of Synergy TSP (Turnkey Service Provider) for providing end to end facilities of supply and services. This gave us an edge as we had 3 of the major products available and within no time Synergy has become a preferred vendor for all major operators of the country.
- 2009: As a latest dimensioning and to fulfill his inherent passionate desire towards hospitality field, he has collaborated with world famous hotel chain JW Marriot for the ownership of 165 keys five star super luxury hotel JW Marriott in Sector 35 Chandigarh – This property was made operational in a record time of 18 months by his sheer passion and zeal and has got a massive response from the Tricity people and visiting national and international tourists.
- 2012: In the recent development, adding to his zeal towards green living, he has come up with a unique concept of INSTAHOME– A lightweight seismic resistant wall and roof panel construction system from Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) and 3-D reinforcement. Insta Home 3 D panels are an excellent material for construction of housing because of its low thermal conductivity, moderate compressive strength, and excellent shock absorption. It does not release toxic or harmful substances and is completely inert. It contains no chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and hydro chlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs). Besides, being free of organic material, it inhibits the growth of microorganisms and mould. The mechanical and thermal properties are guaranteed throughout the life of the building.
- 2012: Dr.Harpal revolutionized the construction industry across globe with launch of INSTACON. Instancon is an ultra fast smart building solution manufactured in a controlled factory environment and shipped to a prepared building site for installation. Uniqueness of Instacon is the efficient and simultaneous activities of site preparation and building construction in factory, rather than two separate phases of customary processes. Construction of 10 storeys building in 48 hours trembled the whole world and proved to be one of his lifetime achievements.
