Harpal Singh, son of an Indian Air Force Officer Mr. F.S Saggu, is blessed with an innate business vision and instable appetite for innovations. As Chairman and Managing Director of Synergy Group, A 1000 crore company, he can be labeled as one of the most ambitious and innovative entrepreneurs in India. Growing Up:

Harpal Singh pursued his career after excelling in education as a start. On completion of Bachelor of Science in the stream of Non-Medical from Punjab University, Chandigarh, he completed in advance diploma in Instrument Technology from Indo Swiss and a Post Graduate diploma in Marketing and Sales Management from Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan, Chandigarh a reputed institution.After this he did B Tech Degree from Manav Bharti University HP.To maintain his educational achievements he completed Masters in Busiiness Management Degree.

He was Awrded Honorary Doctorate Degree in 2017 from World Records University, United Kingdom

The Ideal Beginning:

Harpal began his career from a very early age of 21 and since then he has been on an entrepreneurial spree. Son of a Defence officer, Harpal did not want to follow his father’s footsteps and had shown an interest in business even from his teenage days.

To fulfill his industrious ambitions, Harpal Singh started his humble beginning with a small scale industry with the name of Singh Metals in August 1987.After that he never looked back and kept on diversifying his business into a core specialization in telecom infrastructure and support services with additional interests in prefab structures, Office & Clean room partitions, commercial kitchen solutions and hospitality sector. Today he leads on of the top business groups in India known as SYNERGY GROUP. He has not left any stone unturned to explore the various sectors in the construction Industry.

Out of his zeal for speed, this Hotel was constructed in a record time span of just 14 month in 2010.

The amount of time it takes to complete prefab house is of great benefit to many homeowners and business. Even allowing for the time that it takes to construct the modules, it is still possible to go to an empty lot to a fully functional home or commercial building in as little as 3 to 6 months.
Another benefit that is overlooked is the environment benefits of our prefab homes. These require less on site construction which menans less equipment and construction vehicles releasing harmful smoke and fumes into the air.
In conventional method, the shuttering gets damaged due to its repetitive use because of frequent cutting, nailing etc. On the other hand, the mould for the precast components can be used for large number of repetitions thereby reducing the cost of the mould per unit.
In these technologies, time is saved by the use of pre engineering business elements which are manufactured off-site during the course of foundations being laid. The finishes and services can be done below the slab immediately. While in the conventional in situ RCC slabs, due to props and shuttering, the work cannot be done, till they are removed. Calculated Expansion:-

With a thought to seize the moment, he started Singh Metals in August 1987 to work in precision sheet metal for land line telecom.
Started Singh Systech Pvt. Ltd. In1989 to manufacture telecommunication equipments with niche CDOT technology, capturing soon a market share of 33% PAN India among 21 competitors.
Going by the rich response, he started his third venture Sigma Punch in 1997 to manufacture sheet metal components for telecommunication Industry on fully computerized CNC machines and also diversified into import substitution – Rice grading and sorting lines.
Led by his dreams, he entered into the first joint venture with an American company to enter into Indian amusement Industry as Stealth Amusement Private Limited in 2001.
Started Synergy Telecommunications in 2005 to manufacture telecom shelters, power management units, phase change material, high efficiency air conditioners, tower etc. in Nalagarh, Himachal Pradesh which soon became the second biggest company in India supplying to AIRTEL. Today spread over 10.5 Acres the company boasts of 3000 cell sites to its credit which incidentally is one third of AIRTEL NETWORK.
Towards an inorganic advancement, he bought a UK based company- Thrislington in 2007 and shifted the plant and machinery from UK to Nalagarh. This unit deals with the manufacturing of fire proof doors, office partitions and clean room for commercial purpose used in Pharma, Hotels and other Infrastructure industries.
Going in line with the needs of telecom Industry, started with his much awaited desire of Synergy TSP(Turnkey Service Provider) in 2009 for providing end to end facilities of supply and services. This gave us an edge as we had 3 of the major products available and within no time Synergy has become a preferred vendor for all major operators of the country.
As a latest dimensioning and to fulfill his inherent passionate desire towards hospitality field , In 2009, he has coo borated with world famous hotel chain JW Marriott for the ownership of 165 keys five star super luxury hotel in Chandigarh sector 35- JW Marriott. This property was made operational in a record time of 18 months by his sheer passion and zeal and has got a massive response from the Tricity people and cisiting national and International tourists.

He always tries to create love and affection at work place as he believes that people can put up their heart and soul for love. There is no Monday morning syndrome at his work place-people no t wanting to get behind their desks. Here on Monday morning people are charged up to get back to work! He has always followed his heart and he thinks of intangible first and determines the tangibles in due course.

Future Plans:-

According to him, in next five years Synergy should be a distinct corporation having bigger stakes in infrastructure business particularly in quick and low cost housing. Apart from it, He is keen to enter into health and education sector too. Currently he is working on a project to establish a state of the art 400 Acre University in Punjab and a super specialty oncology hospital project at Mohali is also on his agenda.
